Just as the case of the missing Laapeerians was about to come together, the *Cerritos* was heavily damaged in a dogfight against an unidentified vessel and forced to return to Federation space…*without* the away team.
Repairs on the *Cerritos* are bound to take weeks, but Captain Freeman and Mariner aren’t about to sit around and wait when they have an abandoned away team to rescue—especially one under Boimler’s command.
Together, they formulate a heist to steal a decommissioned starship and mount a daring rescue before their unknown assailants blast Laapoonia, and their crew members, away.

Queen City Comic Bookstore has been around for over 50 years. It is one of the largest and oldest comic bookstores around. Queen City Bookstore opened in 1969, and today it is centrally located in Erie County at Main and Winspear in Buffalo's University Heights District. That probably helps make the store in North Buffalo a local hub for discussions about comic books, cosplay events, and fan networking.

Most importantly, QCB is family owned and operated. Our new site is dedicated to the founder of Queen City Bookstore, Emil Novak. He had the vision to open a store dedicated to comic books 50 years ago, before the birth of the direct market. The store is run today by Emil J. Novak, his son, and Emil Jr, his grandson. In other words, it's a homegrown Buffalo success story. Indeed, the Novaks are proud of all they have done for area comics fans. In fact, they brag about how their customers are some of the smartest, most insightful and creative hobbyists around. They are the Novaks' extended family.
