Johnny Storm has had some incredibly bad ideas in his time, but every once in a while he also has an incredibly good idea too. Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell which is which until you’re neck-deep in their consequences, and by then it’s usually too late.
We mention this only because in this issue, Johnny convinces his sister Sue to go along with a scheme to use her powers to turn the flesh of his skull invisible, so that when he flames on he can pass himself off as the Ghost Rider and settle some old scores. What could possibly go wrong? It’s a Johnny-and-Sue adventure you won’t soon forget!

Queen City Comic Bookstore has been around for over 50 years. It is one of the largest and oldest comic bookstores around. Queen City Bookstore opened in 1969, and today it is centrally located in Erie County at Main and Winspear in Buffalo's University Heights District. That probably helps make the store in North Buffalo a local hub for discussions about comic books, cosplay events, and fan networking.
<h3>A Family Business</h3>
Most importantly, QCB is family owned and operated. Our new site is dedicated to the founder of Queen City Bookstore, Emil Novak. He had the vision to open a store dedicated to comic books 50 years ago, before the birth of the direct market. The store is run today by Emil J. Novak, his son, and Emil Jr, his grandson. In other words, it's a homegrown Buffalo success story. Indeed, the Novaks are proud of all they have done for area comics fans. In fact, they brag about how their customers are some of the smartest, most insightful and creative hobbyists around. They are the Novaks' extended family.
