Our Van
Have you seen the Queen City Bookstore Van about town? As you can probably imagine, comic book long boxes are kind of heavy. However, it’s a great resource for the QCB team. It comes in handy when setting up the regular conventions we organize.
Our Supporters
Certainly, we would not have lasted 50 years without loyal comic book fans. Above all, they are here every Wednesday for new comic books. They also love talking about their favorites. In fact, we spend hours discussing and debating the finer points of storytelling. Sometimes, they even dress in unique outfits. As a result, our customers sure keep Queen City Bookstore exciting and fun!

About Our Products
Get New Releases
Queen City Bookstore has almost every new release from all the major comic book publishers, not just Marvel and DC Comics.
Of course, the quickest and easiest way to reserve new comic books from Queen City Bookstore before they come out is through the Q App. Therefore, you should download it. Naturally, we built it for Android or iPhone. Then you can easily notify us which books you need, and they will be on hold at the store for you EVERY WEDNESDAY.
Hard to Find Collectibles
As you can see, Queen City Bookstore really is a one-stop genre superstore.
However, there’s only so much floor space in our store, but on the web, space is unlimited. Come back often and browse the many unique and rare statues, dioramas, models, masks, replica costume items, vintage toys and games. We also have a warehouse filled with comics and collectibles.
If you want it, then we have it, or have heard of it, and can get it.
What Makes Us Unique?
The Products
The most books come from Marvel, DC Comics, Image, and Dark Horse. Of course we carry those publishers. Plus, we carry the smaller ones, too! IDW Publishing, Valiant Comics, and all the rest.
The Conventions
Buffalo Comicon began twenty years ago, in 1999. This indoor festival event quickly became the preeminent comic book convention in Erie County. QCB produces the Buffalo Comicon three times a year, and it’s a fan favorite for comic book and cosplay lovers.
The Van
How many other stores have a customized van advertising their wares? We can’t think of anyone else. It helps us when we’re buying collections, setting up for conventions, and it’s a billboard for the store, too!
